Hi, Does anyone know if there are any free childcare courses out there that you can do online when your on Jobseekers allowance? I'd really like to get a childcare qualification to increase my chances of getting a job but I can't find any information anywhere?

Heya, Thank you very much for the link... I've already came across these different websites and there doesn't seem to be any child care courses on them. I was just wondering if anyone else had been able to do a course in childcare through the help of social welfare. The course I really want is €900 but I just can't afford that on my jobseekers allowance but really really do want to work. I'm in a bit of a rut at the minute as I have several different qualifications in computing, ms word, excel etc and I'm very computer literate but no 'work experience' on my CV and on the other hand I've no qualification in childcare but I have 4 years work experience working in a creche from when I was younger. In order to increase my chances of actually being employed I feel I should get the childcare qualification behind me as no creches will hire now without the fetac level 5 qualification. Even though I DO have the experience. Sorry I've gone on a rant here but I'm desperate just to get out and work at this point :/
