There have been record breaking DDOS attacks in the last week. Somebody is wielding a large botnet and really causing trouble, its not impossible that its impacting us via the CDNs in London/France.

Thought more users would have posted in here if they were experiencing issues.

I'm experiencing these issues on Virgin. Twitch has been unbearable the last week.

I've been able to rule it out being a Twitch.tv thing as their support outlined it wasn't, and friends of mine on Eir in the area are having no issues.

So I've been assuming its a Virgin issue

Really annoying though, most streams constantly lagging and buffering

For a few days, YouTube videos stopped loading after 5 seconds. I had to refresh the page or manually skip pass the 5 second mark, which, sometimes, didn't work, but once I got past that 5 second mark, it was fine.

Twitch still in bits for me. We are talking about really odd timings as well. Like it's 11:00am, every stream lagging to ****.

Was a bit better last night for a while, but still continues. Definitly looking more an issue on the Twitch side of things

So I moved over to Firefox to tested and am going about an hour now without any lag or stuttering. It was an instant improvement

A friend mentioned t odisable the HTML5 player beta and go back flash, but I even have HTML5 turned on in Firefox and its going absolutely perfect
