Evaporation line?

    I did a hpt earlier. Around 1.30. I am 1 day late on my period.

    i didn't really time the minutes while waiting to check the test, I checked after a couple of minutes, maybe 4-5 minutes and didn't show anything , I think! I was trying to see something but Thought my eyes were deceiving me! Anyway, I looked again at 1.46, and there was definitely a line there. Could this be an evaporation line or does anyone know how long it usually takes for an evaporation line to appear? As in more like Minutes or an hour or more??. I will do another test later in the week but it's all I can think about now at the moment

    Try doing a test with the first urine of the morning, the hormone its supposed to detect is more likely to be present as its concentrated.

    Which test did you use? First Response and Clearblue are probably the best ones out there.
