Fence paint on bonnet. HELP PLEASE

    Hi, neighbour painted wooden fence and now car has splash specs all over bonnet. They used the usual ronseal fence.ife creosote stuff. Was gonna use drop petrol on rag but seeking advice first. What should I use please, wax polish, t cut etc, .All advice welcomed please.

    You might need to see a professional about it. The neighbours house insurance should pay for it, so you need to chat with them if you want to go down that route.

    I've two cars, one of them wouldn't bother me that much if the same thing happenend and I'd do it myself, the other one I'd get it done properly as I value it more personally.

    Thanks for that. Trying to avoid that insurance route if possible. Just trying to sort myself. Wondering if others has similar experience

    A tar remover might lift it. Failing that claying and or polishing should do the trick.
    Shouldnt need professional assistance, but do not put any elbow grease into your effort of lifting it, if you do have you, you are likely going to inflict swrils, and at this point perhaps seek further advice or professional advice!! ;)

    Thanks, will do. Will use a good tar remover, autogly, or something and go from there to flaying etc. Cheers

    Aye tar & glue remover worked for me, made mistake of doing it to my own car few years back. Bloody wind hahaha

    Aye but water alone wouldnt remove it, basically makes it easier to remove.
