Garda vetting - previous Garda caution

    My niece has a caution from about month ago, but she's currently in Transition Year and needs to do work experience, everywhere she's applied to asked her for Garda vetting forms, but she knows if they see she has a criminal record they'll cut her off.

    Gárda vetting for TY work experience - usually for just a fortnight?

    Have given such TY work experience many times. Never even thought of Garda vetting. Accept teachers' recommendations

    I don't think JLO cautions appear on vetting forms. Even if they do, that doesn't mean a person automatically won't get a job.

    She was accepted into her old primary school, but we're just worried if she won't be able to.
