Non Resident Mortgage

Is it possible for a non resident to get a mortgage for a property in ireland? Can I just apply as normal, or do I have to approach specific lenders?

Are there any additional stipulations I have to meet?

I'm living abroad for the past 6 years, and while I don't have enough for a deposit in Dublin yet, I want to get my finances sorted out so that I can hopefully get back on the property ladder...

BTW, same question, but for commercial property...
