So I have Pinworms or threadworms as some people call them, pretty sure it's the same thing. I've read up all about the hygiene and all that but I was just wondering is there any over the counter medicine that can be bought in a chemist to aid me in getting rid of them?

Mebendazole is available without perscription. All family members need to be treated.

Vermox as well - it's available without prescription. It's a liquid you take it for a couple of weeks, all members of the family need to take it.

And wash all your towels and sheets on a high setting to kill any eggs. And cut your finger nails.
