I unrooted my factory rooted Elephone p3000s but the su binary is still there in the system bin folder and I can't remove it because I'm not root any more. Any way out of this vicious circle?
I don't know how to enable root again to try removing the file before unrooting and I don't know how to install or access a recovery mode.

Gonna need to reinstall su app then delete .su file in system folder, Google that part

Can't reinstall su without being root though.
    Factory reset I guess.

    Factory reset I guess.

The binary is in the system partition, not data partition. Factory reset will not help you.

The only think you can do is reflash the system partition through fastboot if you have the image.

Only did this a few days ago, with my yoga tablet. I tried unrooting it, but the su file was still there, I just reinstalled supersu from playstore used a file manager that uses root privilege and deleted the su file in root/system/Xbin then deleted the su app

Your technically still rooted so no need to reroot

I reinstalled super su but it tells me there's no root. Root check says the same. Safety net of course fails.

I'm stuck between two stools now, ad block not working and can't run Pokemon Go.

How did you go about trying to unroot the phone?

For me, I used the supersu app, found out it left behind the su file in Xbin folder, it also suggested to search for busybox file and delete that too but it didn't show up in search said it was okay if it wasn't there.

Can't find the site I used either for the tut.

Just ran SuperSU and choose the complete unroot option. The su file send to be gone now from bin and xbin after a couple of reboots but still no SafetyNet pass.

Damn, screwed it up. Factory reset and root is gone still and I can't get it back
