Wall vent recommendations for extension / renovation

We are in the middle of a sizable extension of a split level dormer, basically we have taken off a gable and extended out about 4m taking floor area from about 170 sq m to about 230 sqm.

It is an early 80s house in mid Clare, we replaced windows a few years back with reasonable units (no vents though).

Old and new construction is generally cavity blockwork, better insulation in new section (cavity in older section pumped with beads). House is and will be far from airtight, best endeavaours but practical approaches to date)

The form of the house does not really lend itself to a MHRV system, nor does the budget), but need to provide some ventilation to rooms. Easiest option is simple core a hole and put crappy wall vents, but I reckon now is time put something a that will not be draughty and may even improve air quality.

What are recommendations for decent, reasonable units.

    Many thanks
    DJF
