Dental Nursing

Not a tooth related dental issue but I'm looking for any feedback from dental staff (dentists, other dental nurses etc). PM's would be greatly appreciated if people would prefer.

Basically I'm wondering an average hour wage for qualified dental nurses?

My background: Dental council registered, qualified just shy of 9 years with dental radiology qualification, over 10 years dental nursing experience in general and specialised dentistry. Working in the south east of the country in a general practice.

I'm currently getting €10.50 per hour which I think it extremely low with my experience. My unqualified colleague who has no experience in dental nursing is getting €10 per hour. I questioned my employer about a pay increase in last few weeks and was told I am getting the standard for qualified dental nurses and "if you're not happy with that go somewhere else and realise you'll get the same there as you are here".
