Folks, I've a Triton AS2000XT thermostatic power shower in my en suite, and I was wondering if it would be able to feed an overhead rain type shower head.

Something akin to the shower head coming up in Lidl

    The system is gravity fed

You would most likely find the result from the rain shower head disappointing. If you look at the shower head on the AS2000 you will see that the number of holes (and the size of them) differs greatly to the much larger rain fall type. The shower head on the AS2000 is designed to take into account the size / flow rate and pressure from the very small internal pump. The rain fall unit relies on much higher flow and pressure rates for the full effect, which is usually only available via a decent twin impeller shower booster pump.
In saying all that, for 40 euro I would probably take the chance on buying it and just hook up the rain fall head to the hose from the AS2000 to see how well it does. If its satisfactory, happy days, if its disappointing you are not out a huge amount of money and you should easily sell it on Adverts and probably get your money back.
