Insurance on an electric car (Tesla model S)

    Indulge me guys,just out of curiosity, how much would it be to insure a 23 year old full license holder on an all electric car, such as the tesla model s ?

    I seriously can't imagine any company quoting a 23 year old on something with a top limited speed of 155 mph and acceleration of 0-60 mpg in 2.8s. If they do, it'll be quite a bit more than €5000.

    The only people that can answer your question is the insurance company.

    Online quote for fun and see what happens. 123.ie might even call you back very lively ;)

    But expect a few none quotes. High end car and young driver dont normally go well but you never know !
