Lough Dan and Lough Ouler

    Anyone camped on these lakes, what are they like? much of a hike to lough Ouler?

    I'll be hiking from Roundwood up to Lough Dan then onto Lough Ouler, don't know if theres any easy routes up to Lough Ouler from Lough Dan though.

    You can take a forestry road up to the Military road from Lough Dan, and then up to Lough Ouler, or come over Scarr mountain to the Military road, for a shorter(more climbing) route. How are you getting back to civilisation from Lough Ouler?

    You're going to walk from Lough Ouler back to Roundwood?
    If you're getting the st Kevin's Bus to Roundwood, you could go to Laragh to get back. Over Tonlegee, down to the Wicklow Gap, down to the power station, around the north side of the lake and take the track down Glendassan.
