Take the 33 or 41/a/b/c from Swords to Swords Road at the junction of Santry Avenue, stop 1639, and then cross the road to Santry Avenue to stop 974 and take the 17a towards Blanchardstown.

If you use a Leap card you'll get a discount on your second bus journey.

Thank you, that is very helpful! :) Do you by any chance know where to get on at Blanch in order to get back to santry? I'm guessing other buses go to Swords from Santry then too?

Yes, it works the same in reverse. The 17a operates from Blanchardstown Centre and also serves Blanchardstown Hospital. If you get off on Santry Avenue you can change onto the Swords bus on Swords Road.
