    Hi.
I am getting chimney reline cause of chimney fire. I get two lads and 2 diffrent opinions. One of them saying to put back 9 inch clays like it was and another one says 6. I have multifuel stove with backboiler and he recon that stove will perform better with 6 inch ones. Any advice?

Hello pitero1, yes most manufacturers would specifiy that a 6" outlet would enable stove to run as efficiently as possible. In terms of chimney fire, if you are putting it through your insurance, remember you are entitled to get liner replaced on a "like for like" basis.
