    Hi all.

First time poster in this forum. Currently in work on night shift and suffering from extreme anxiety/panic attacks. I can't relax around people,it feels like I'm going to faint if anyone comes near me.

I do suffer from this feeling occasionally but never this intense and consistent. I'm drinking plenty water and taking deep breaths.

I'm going to a gp on Monday to see if he can help but any advice now would be very welcome!

    Thanks.

Can you talk to a supervisor and tell them you are feeling unwell or ask to go home? Try to go outside if possible to breathe in some fresh air. A useful technique which is often suggested is to blow in and out of a paper bag to help control of your breathing but I would suggest ask to go home and then see your GP on Monday.
