    Hi Folks
One of my children was recently diagnosed with CIDP six months ago. So far they are responding well to treatment, thank God. Do any of you have experience of this disease? They are going into hospital again tomorrow for third lot of plasma infusions. Should they need to go to A&E and Medical Assessment unit now tthey've been properly diagnosed? He is finding A&E tough and Medical Assessment Unit is also tough for him! The waiting is long and tedious.
We thought he would simply go straight to a ward and receive his infusions. He has an appointment with the specialist I a few weeks. Will this speed up treatment for him? The doctors and nurses are good, it's having to go to A&E or Medical Assessment Unit that's frustrating him.
Would be grateful for any advice that would make it easier for him.
