    Hello there

I have a 06 Yaris with 215000km on the clock. It has been a great car and very reliable.
I am hoping to upgrade to a newer car😊😊.
I have 8 k to put with my Yaris or else I will sell the Yaris and maybe get 2.5 or 3k so up to 11 k
I am looking for a hatchback 5 Dr that is very very reliable and very economical.
I am not looking for anything sporty or cutting edge.
Should I stick with the Yaris and get s new Yaris maybe a 131 or 141?
Or should I switch brand and get something different altogether. Maybe a Ford Fiesta? I have no idea of the pros and cons of the various small to medium cars available in the market.

Hyundai i20 is worth a look, very reliable, not heavy on fuel, well equipped compared to other small cars and will have the balance of the 5 year Hyundai warranty left on it.

Kia Rio which is basically the same car as the i20 is another to look at, will have the balance of Kia's 7 year warranty too:

    Thanks bazz.

Which one out of the three would you recommend and why?

I20 and Rio are the same basic car. Rio is a slightly older design styling wise, but they're as good as each other.
The fiesta was a cracker in 2008 or whenever it came out. It's due a new model at this stage now, and the engine choices are pretty slow unless you get a turbo model.
Yaris is outclassed by all the above though.
