Who to book with?

    Hi,

Heading to Malaga in a few weeks and I'm not booking a package deal which is what I normally used to do. So I'm looking at a hotel I like so I'm going to book it.

Question is; is it better to book direct with the hotel or with someone like Travel Republic?

The only reason I ask is because I've contacted the hotel and they said if I want to guarantee a sea view I should book ROOM WITH PRIME SEA VIEW which is 15 euro dearer per night than the ROOM WITH SEA/MOUNTAIN VIEW. I've seen people comment on Travel Republic saying they requested sea views, non smoking, higher floor etc and most times they were granted.

Anyways, which do you think would be best? Also, do their rates drop from time to time? I've been looking for a week now and prices are the same. Thanks

Unlikely that Travel Republic will go bust but people said same thing about lowcostholidays, your booking is safer if directly with Hotel.

That time of the year the hotel is highly unlikely to be fully booked, I would risk booking the cheaper non direct booking. Put your request in the booking and have a nice word with receptionist when checking in asking is sea view possible.

Don't book with Travel Republic, do some googling about them and you will see the sort they are. Plenty other booking sites besides them. If it quacks like a duck and waggles like a duck then usually its a duck.
