Possible Clinical Negligence-need advice

    Hey

As this is my first post on this forums would like to say hello to everyone.

I'm not sure how to start this, as I never had a case in court myself, so I've got next to 0 experience in this matters.

I will try to be as brief as specific as possible.

My mom was operated and had ostomy which was done over a year ago now, so she was send home for some time as after few months they were suppose to operate again and remove the ostomy. So my parents showed up at the time and have been send home being told to come in few weeks to see again as they have apparently had no bed in hospital at that day. This repeated over next 2 - 3 months or so. Driving my mom very depressed and angry, as she had to be with this pouch for much longer as expected.

My mom had an heart valve replaced around 7 years ago now. Keep this in mind.

So what happend during the wait for the second operation for ostomy was, her heart valve got infected with sepsis, and over the course of 6 months now in intensive care she was literally fighting for live, she had 2 hear valves done now as the infection was highly persistent and resulted in a range of complications over the course of treatment like a what they called an septic stroke...

I do not believe it was a good decision to delay the removal of ostomy as she had an serious medical condition already aka the artificial biological heart valve susceptible to a range of bugs.

Thank god she seems to be doing better and pulling finally thro it.

I'm not gonna get into what it all meant for my whole family and what will follow, I can say it has been really tough and it surely will be especial for my parents.

Would they be eligible for some form of compensation for this decision?

Is this a so called " clinical negligence " case?

Thanks to anyone who is willing to give any form of advice on this.

    Regards.
