    I have a mk4 polo and was wonder what is the fitment size on it reguarding alloys plus whats the biggest whell i'd get into it's wee arches

    Don't know the exact fitting dimensions but in terms of what size to go up to use a tyre calculator (like www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html) to find out a larger wheel /tyre combo suitable for your speedo. Also remember that bigger rims will be heavier thereby making your car work hardeer to achieve the same speed. Also get rims which are not very see-through as your small discs & drums will look even smaller.
    Also ensure your wheel offset is correct!
