I am looking for plastic bottle crates - dirty, broken etc are all perfect as long as they are strong enough to take the weight of a person or two (it's for filling a soakaway pit).

Any ideas on where I can source these inexpensively.

    Thanks!

I bought these the other day - might work?

    they were €4.50 each - 300mmx300mm grid

Thanks looks like a cool idea but may not be suitable for what I am trying to do - I have a cubic meter of space to fill, and these will work out more expensive than the expensive option "wavin aquacell".

    Thanks again!

You could try your local pub or drinks wholesaler. They may have old broken ones and be happy to get rid of them
