Killarney Oaks Hotel

    Hey,

We are thinking of getting engaged and setting the date on the QT! But it's just very early talks at the moment. The hotel I have set my heart on is The Killarney Oaks, I love this hotel for weddings, I'm always very impressed when I have been there. I have been looking on line and their website and there is no cost per person on line.
We don't want to ring them yet cause then they will ask us what date we are looking to get married.
Could anyone tell me how much per person approx they paid there?
Did anyone have the rack of lamb? How much extra was it?

    Thanks

Call them up or email them asking them for their wedding brochure, they should have one and it should contain the info you need, they won't mind you contacting them for this and then arranging an in person meeting when you know the date.

I didn't know dates when I started looking, they should have wedding brochures on their sites or as Atomic Pineapple said, get a contact number / email and ask them for their price list/ brochure. That way you can get an idea of packages and prices :)

Sorry to bump a bit of an old post but did you ever find out the prices? I rang and they wouldn't tell me without going to meet them in person which I can't do at the moment as I don't live in Ireland... Thanks!

I would try them again, explain you live abroad and want to get an idea of prices and venues before you go and visit them, if they still refuse then i think you'd be better going somewhere else.
I organised my own wedding from abroad and I would suggest you find somewhere more accommodating to your situation. I found my hotel really difficult via email and phone (after the deposit was paid :(). Initially any hotels we got in touch with provided either a rate sheet or specific quote (based on rough numbers and a possible date).

That said I've been to a wedding there and it was lovely. Best of luck!
