    Hi All

Booked tickets from Dublin to Las vegas via manchester coming up soon.

    Here is itinerary.

Dublin - Manchester 6.30am (Aer lingus)
Manchester - Las Vegas 11.45am (Virgin)

We should have realised the early time check in etc and transit time in Manchester.

We thought ok why not fly to Manchester the previous day and then just board the Virgin flight to Vegas. We booked the ticket from Ryan Air the other day but when contacting the travel agent today they tell us we have to take the Aer Lingus flight to Manchester or else we can't Board the Virgin Flight.

He said we have to take all four flights from original booking.

Anyone any experience of this before ??

Yes, if booked as a single ticket if you miss a leg the rest of the ticket is cancelled

Yes that's right, there's plenty of transit time in Manchester for you with the AerLingus flight though I really wouldn't worry and if you don't make it they have to put you on the next flight out (even if that means going to somewhere like New York and connecting from there to Vegas.)

Your bags are booked in through Dublin and you won't see them until Vegas. Apart from the early morning, I don't really see the issue here? You'll have about 3 hours or so in Manchester Airport but that's not too bad at all. Grab a breakfast and take a stroll around the shops and you'll be eating up two hours easily enough

Hope you didn't pay too much for the Ryanair flights but you've no option but to take the Aer Lingus flight (and it's by far the better option anyway)

all flights must be taken in sequence otherwise all remaining flights will be cancelled

Only if that is what it says on the conditions of carriage for that ticket. For example an open return or a round-the-world open ticket might differ.

OP doesn't mention open return or rtw ticket.
