I'm hoping to get a position 20 hours a week term time, so get all school holidays off etc, can I still claim fis if my work is term time with 2 months off during summer (unpaid) cheers!

You can get FIS while you are working but you would need to claim jobseekers when you drop below 19hours per week or 38 hours per fortnight.

Thanks for your reply! I will be on a reduced rate of my One Parent claim, the only weeks I wouldn't be working are the Halloween, Christmas, Easter and summer holidays rest of the year will be 20 hours per week.
