Introductory Flying Lesson

Last Saturday afternoon I had an introductory flying lesson from Newcastle Aerodrome. I must say I loved it.

The flight was taken on EI-BSO, a PiperCherokee PA28-140B built in 1969.

I managed to grab a few photos heading back to Newcastle after the instructor had taken back control of the aircraft for approach to the Aerodrome. Our flight took us South from Newcastle to just beyond Wicklow before heading North West towards Roundwood with a few circuits over the Wicklow Mountains near Glendalough. Then we headed East towards the Sugar Loaf mountain before descending to 1,500 ft to begin our approach back to the Aerodrome.

Here are a few pictures from it. http://smu.gs/2cJFXAQ

I think I may have the flying bug now :)

I've sudden desire for a thread/sticky dedicated to user aero-shots, but I'm afraid it might not be as lively as I would hope for
