Paint Bathtub?

    Is it possible to paint an old bathtub?? Bought an old house with a horrible orange tub. On abit of a budget now so wondering if its possible to paint it white or cream??

    Is it cast iron with a ceramic finish. If so it can be painted with ceramic paint on the inside. Cast iron on the outside can be painted with regular paint.
    If it's plastic/PVC type you might be better of to replace it.

    You can buy paint that's supposed to be usable on plastic baths but ime, it never really works.

    Going through the same with a pink / peach bath and basin in our old house and unfortunately it really is a case of needing to replace them.
