Multi-fuel stove - what to burn in Dublin City

I know that Dublin City centre is a "smokeless zone" but what does this mean in terms of using a multi-fuel stove in a residential house in D6?

I'm thinking of replacing an unused open fire with one of http://heatdesign.ie/green-freestanding-lifestyle#.V92ixJMrLow these freestanding stoves, but I'd appreciate some guidance and opinions.
