After a long time thinking...hmmm and ahhhing

I've decided to go back to resit a few subjects in the Leaving Cert and then go and apply for a course I've always wanted to do, just never had the confidence...

    I've literally made a goal before I'm 30. I'm positive about them

The Leaving Cert killed me the first time, this time, I'm determined to kick its arse and complete my goals

    Good for you.
Are you going to try do it yourself, or attend night classes?

I'm going to do night classes. Work full time, attend classes after and sit the Leaving. I need to get my arse in gear to do what I want to do. Sitting on my arse only gains the weight

Fair play to you. Best of luck!

What course do you want to do?
Most courses have some sort of a mature student entry back door that can eliminate the need to actually resit the leaving.

I think doing the classes is a good choice - you will have the support of the others in your group should you need it.
Best of luck to you, I'm sure it will go well for you.

I want to do Bachelor's Science in DNA and Forensics Analysis and it requires maths and biology. Although I'm classed as a mature student. I would rather go back and do maths and biology again as an "introduction" so when I start the course, I'll have an idea of how things work again rather than trying to play catch up

Good idea, but if it changes anything, Leaving Cert Chemistry and Biology are usually done in Year 1 in most Irish university courses
