Anybody tried CBD oil for anxiety?

Just wondering has anyone tried it, did it help. I used to smoke cannabis a long time ago. But I can't now it just brings on anxiety. I don't like the high feeling but wondering if the cbd oil could work for anxiety. There's no high with the oil.
