I proceeded to join up with EIR at the start of August, I provided them with my tesco mobile and Vodafone internet account details and left the port over in their hands. I was given an account number and date for installation. Few days later I was contacted by EIR and they told me my installation date was cancelled as there was an issue with the port from Tesco mobile, I was told I would need to sort this directly with Tesco mobile themselves and then restart the process with EIR. In the mean time I decided not to go ahead with EIR at all so I thought nothing of it, however now I see 6 weeks laterI have been issued with a bill for 36.80 when there has been no contract and no installation in my house, I will make this very simple, if I don t get refunded that 36.80 I will be contacting Comreg

If eir took your funds by SEPA direct debit you get your refund from your bank - no quibble. no reasons given, guaranteed by the SEPA rules.

Could I get an EIR rep on the case please

If you want your money back, ask your bank! They are obliged to repay any SEPA DD.
I firmly believe you are wasting your time looking to eir to refund you.
Once your bank give you your money back eir might contact you.

It's not a direct debit , they have my 16 digit debit card number . I can't believe the dodgy shower are ignoring me

O.P go straight to comreg the industry regulator with this.
It will just take a brief email to them and they will deal with Eir on your behalf.

The email address is on comregs website

Its the quickest and most painless way to resolve your issue.

    Dear Sir/Madam,
I proceeded to join up with EIR at the start of August, I provided them with my tesco mobile and Vodafone internet account details and left the port over in their hands. I was given an account number(xxxxxxxx)and date for installation ,a few days later I was contacted by EIR and they told me my installation date was cancelled as there was an issue with the port from Tesco mobile, I was told I would need to sort this directly with Tesco mobile themselves and then restart the process with EIR. In the mean time I decided not to go ahead with EIR at all so I thought nothing of it, however  6 weeks later I was issued with a bill for 36.80 even though there has been no contract and no installation in my house, I contacted EIR to explain the situation about a week ago but nothing has been done and I have been issued with a  further bill for 85.25, I have gotten my bank to return the initial withdrawal from my account but I need this issue to be resolved. The case ID with Eir is xxxxxxxx

COMREG have been sent the above
