It's a bit of a cliché that Eskimos have forty words for snow but surely given the prevailing weather conditions here we should have a similar amount for rain.

Sun shower. My Australian buddy couldn't get his head around it when he first moved here. "The sun is out, but it's still raining" He still can't cope with the horizontal rain.
