    Hello,

Shifted the array of solar tubes to accomodate a PV panels install.

Before, the recorded temperatures were in region of minim 60-100 at collector sensor.

After shift, the temperatures are not going 50-60,even today with good sunny spells not going over 40ish.

I know that the chimney will cover / steal some of the gains,in the morning, but daytime i expect to be back to normal.

I called Joules and i checked the controller settings, they looked fine.

Asking the experts...what is the issue/fault/cause for this massive drop in the performance !?

    Thanks in advance.

Any chance there is a greater cooling effect from the wind when the tubes are mounted higher and nearer the ridge or is that a dumb question and the wind has no effect on sealed tubes?
