If you're happy to get a Louisiana hot sauce, rather than the Louisiana brand hot sauce, then Crystal hot sauce (the superior of the brands imo) is available from a number of Asian food shops in Dublin. Specifically, it's available, in regular and large sized bottles, in the Asian Food Co. on Liffey St. The entire population of New Orleans (and seemingly the Middle East, where it's huge) can't all be wrong.

Apologies - that should be Asian Food Co. On Mary street, not Liffey street. Picked up a bottle myself on Saturday.

Avery Island is in La., so that makes Tobasco a Louisiana hot sauce...

Tabasco is very vinegary though. A less flexible hot sauce.

Given that it's referred to as the Louisiana brand hot sauce above, I reckon it's safe to say people know this already. But Crystal is the better option, if you want a Louisiana hot sauce.
