Can you recommend me a good psu

My pc started making funny noises at the back where the PSU is located and now its turning itself off and can't stay on for long anymore so I reckon my PSU is screwed. I'm typing this on my ps4. Could someone recommend me a good PSU that isn't too expensive? The specs on my pc are core i5 2500k overclocked to 4.3ghz, 4gb ram, radeon 6670 1gb ddr3, 1tb hard drive, dvd rom/rw drive. I might upgrade the gpu at some stage so I'd like to get a PSU that will allow upgrades of the Video card and Ram. I was thinking maybe going with a 600watt psu. The old one I had was a cheap generic 500w psu with no cables for connecting a graphics card to it so I suppose even a cheap one would be a big upgrade. I'd like to not spend too much but still make sure and buy a power supply that won't blow up on me and fry my pc. Thanks.

If you're coming from a generic low-end PSU, something like an XFX TX430, EVGA 430w, Corsair VS450, etc are all around €40 and will be perfectly fine, huge upgrade on what you were using and will cover upgrades to any modern card (RX480, GTX1060/70).

Is the EVGA 600W white good? I was thinking of that one because of the 3 year warranty and it doesn't seem too expensive.

The EVGA 600B? Should be alright @ €62.

Personally I'd spend an extra €22 on the G2 550W but to each their own.

Personally I think it's fine. It's not very efficient but it's reliable enough and will support any upgrade.

Same as above.

You can spend as much as you want on a PSU, but for your average PC, that class of PSU - EVGA White, XFX TX, Corsair VS, etc @ the €40 mark are basic, reliable units. Realistically most people don't care a huge amount for efficiency.

I have an EVGA White 430w in my own PC.

By all means research all the options available, the price differences are there for a reason, but they are reliable units. The only units to outright avoid are the junk like what you had in your PC originally - cheap brands like Arctic, Q-Tec, Sumvision, ACE, Alpine, etc. They are genuinely unsafe units to use in a gaming PC and struggle to provide 33% of their advertised power at times, and are liable to just pop. Suitable only for ultra low power gaming PC's and office PC's, but nonetheless bought frequently for mid to high end gaming machines with the same end result - bang.
