S5 overheat after unlock

    I know the overheating issue has been well documented though I can't find anything specifically the same as my issue so...

    I got an unlock code for my S5 from meteor. I've had the phone 2 years, no issues, good battery life throughout. I just unlocked the phone this morning and it got super hot and battery went from 100%-8% in about 2 hours. Put it to ultra power saver mode, still cooking. Phone off and charging now before I uninstall everything.

    Any suggestions, anyone had same issues and resolved them?
