Changing Career Path

I am considering a change in career path and would appreciate some thoughts.

My career thus far has being all in funds. 14 years in the funds industry. I am at manager level and manage 20 staff. I am ACCA qualified. I have good financial and IT acumen.

I would like to consider roles outside of funds. The problem is I am finding it hard to figure out where to start. I am interested in mid-level managerial roles in the financial sector. If the roles had an IT aspect that would be a bonus. I am not interested in a pure accounting role.

Any thoughts on where I should start would be appreciated. Is there any good recruiter or other individual who would be good to have a general career conversation with? Does anyone have experience with successful shifts in industry in these type of situations?

    Thanks.
