Watching that morning show just now, the sports report after the news "just about" mentioned our Niamh McCarthy who won yet another silver medal for Ireland....and at 08.30, no mention at all...but there always seems to be time to talk about shoes.!!!.in comparison to the BBC breakfast ,they were all over the games....

which one has to sell advertising?

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

Ireland AM is all fluff and no substance. TV3 only have it to meet a quota.

They are probably a more accurate reflection of the minimal minority interest there for the paralympics. Its very niche stuff, very few would be following it or care about the results. What is reported in some of the media has the whiff of a forced political correctness and dutiful reporting attempting to big it up. It comes across as false and harms their credibility as journalists. TV3 is more honest in this respect.

just arent prepared to pay for coverage, actually they are showing more than the main olympics, where they talked about the results with a flyover of the olympic venues.
