    I have been granted planning permission and i wish to move to the next stage. All i have is the planning drawings and i am looking for to get the drawings and spec done up so that i can send out for pricing to the builders. I have received 2 quotes. They are in excess of €6,000 which i consider a bit excessive for what i require. Am i wrong or is this the going rate for this type of work. What i am looking for is
    • Fulfil the role of Project Designer
    • Perpare adauate General Arrangement drawings of the proposed works to comply with building regs
    • Perpare structural steel drawings for the builder
    • complete all necessary paperwork and finish out planning permission requirements

    Works are in limerick. But i didnt thing it would be as much

    Is it a bird, an airplane??? Find out how many hours/days work will be done on your behalf, do the math.

    6000 is dear if you are building a coal bunker. Its cheap if you are building a large shed that need structural steel design and supervision. When you say 'structural steel drawings for the builder', It sound like a complex enough project. If you mean only a few loose beams, then..... As above, what is the nature of the works??
