Job seekers benefit- stamps query

    Hi,

    I was out of work from April 2015 to April 2016 .My job seekers benefit ran out at the start of January 2016. I regain full time employment on the 12th April 2016 . I have been told that my contract will be ending the 12th January 2017- 9 months work in total. Will I be entitled to and jobseekers benefit when I finish work? Will I have enough stamps ?

    From the info provided by you it does sound like that you will re-qualify for jobseekers benefit.

    Did you sign for credits between Jan 2016 and April 2016?

    It won't affect your claim in January 2017 but may affect you in the future if there is a 3 month gap.
