Max spend €200, either unlocked or on Vodafone Prepay, with or upgradeable to at least Android 6.0. Did see the Desire 530, but only letting it down for me was no Gorrilla Glass, and reports of poor screen read in sunny conditions.

    Suggestions please.

I bought a HTC M8 earlier in the year on eBay for £165 - was presumably factory refurbished but seemed brand new, came with android 6 out of the box and I can't fault it.

I wouldn't be one for spending huge amounts on the latest phones, so not sure how it compares with the latest and greatest though..

HTC don't offer great value on your budget, you should be able to get a new A9 on adverts for <€250 which is good value at that price.

Why HTC in particular? I'm a huge fan of HTC, and have had loads of them over the years. I wouldn't bother with anything other than their flagships, though.

If you're going cheap, either a second hand top end HTC, or get a Chinese phone.

Making move from windows to android for mobile, and only been looking at Samsungs (already and a tab3) and HTCs, ans simply prefer the look and layout of them.

Dont want top end, or entry level either, hence the price range. Been looking closely at a desire 626. Can get unlocked for under €200 from amazon. Reading some negitives about the screen though. Any thoughts or experience with that one.
