My name is Lucy Reeve, native British (London), 28 years old and I'm a postgraduate student at Trinity College Dublin.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese (University of Leeds) with Distinction in Spoken Chinese. I've lived and worked in China for 3+ years.

I offer fun, effective and dynamic Chinese (Mandarin) Grinds in Dublin. Having learnt Chinese myself as a native English speaker, I know the best methods to comprehensively grasp the language. In particular, cultural and historical context is so important when learning Chinese, and I always make sure to share my specialist knowledge of China with my students!

I have impressive experience teaching languages to primary and high school children, as well as other university students and professional adults in both China and the UK.

I offer 60 minute Grinds for EUR40 for children/students/adults and can be flexible with my schedule - evenings and weekends are possible.

I can help you with -
    beginners Chinese
    basic conversation skills
    improving grammar and sentence structure
    letter writing in Chinese
    homework checking
    exam preparation

    Why choose me? -
high-class degree from an excellent UK university
    fluent in Mandarin Chinese
energetic and interactive learning - you can't learn Chinese from simply reading books!
first hand experience in the difficulties of learning Chinese as a foreigner - able to explain clearly grammar rules
    outgoing and bubbly personality
personal interest in Chinese history, culture and society

Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions about me or setting up a introductory Grinds session.

Reply to this thread for my contact details and to set up a first session.

I look forward to hearing from you!

    Best,

    Lucy
