    Hey All,

Looking for recommendations for a cheap DSLR camera (less than €400 preferably).

I just want a camera to make good quality pictures when I'm travelling.
Don't want to break the bank.

Also I would prefer to have a feature where you can set the camera to take photos every x seconds for a set time (or until manual stoppage).
Is this possible on most types of camera?

    Thanks!

If you want to keep to your budget then you really need to look at second hand.
The Olympus OMD Em10 has the feature you require using the custom self timer. You might find the mark 1 version for sale at you budget point or close to it.
Strictly speaking this camera is a mirror-less rather than DSLR but that shouldn't really matter for your purposes.

you can buy cheap time-lapse accessories to do the job for a camera which doesnt have this feature:

    Thanks Lads,

I think I can get a Nikon D3300 for €350. I have been checking specs for this camera but cannot confirm if it has the feature.

    Would you know?

Yep I second that. If you are travelling mirrorless will make a huge difference and there's a lot of them available very cheaply on secondhand market.
