Serious question. I need a new pillow because the memory foam one I have now sucks.

Didn't know they sucked. No wonder they cost so much

You just made them sound unappealing. Thanks for that.

I had this exact problem and then I bought a Dunlopillo Super Comfort Pillow in Arnotts and have been having the best sleep for months. A bit of give but not too much and springs back perfectly. I got 2 for 1 in New Year sales I think.

I'm hoping for sensible answers because I need a solution to the pillow problem.

I'm also hoping for the funny ones because I could do with a laugh :D

The memory foam ones hurts my neck. I used to hate sleeping with pillows and I'd say until I was about 16 or 17, I would sleep with my head under the pillow.
Now, I need big squishy but firm pillows, more than one but less than two, so I usually have a cheaper small pillow like a pancake under my proper pillow. And my neck and shoulders are constantly in bits.

Used to have one of those memory foam pillows, switched to a down filled one from Dunnes. Much more comfortable.

Some of the worst arguments I've had with the wife, is when she throws out the old pillows and buys new ones. Take me ages to get comfortable on it. And just when I have it right....

I once had a pillow I loved so much I wrote my name on it. It smelt of home. Not too hard, not too thin, and plumped up firmly year after year.
    :-)
    Love me, love my pillow.
