Well nothing up on Listowel festival yet and I will be down for a few days. With the Guinness Kerry National Handicap 4.10. I have my own fancy Folsom Blue, I just think its due a win. The ground will suit down to 133 rating Bryan Cooper on board who has ridden him before definitely e/w for me.7/1

Screaming rose 4.45 my other bet a good thing. My nap at 6/4

Love in the sun another fancy if mine 2.30 at 5/4 I will probably double with screaming rose.

Going to have a dabble too, had him in the Irish National so will stay loyal!

I hope Folsom Blue doesn't win today. He has a decent chance but I'm waiting for a better price. Welsh national hopefully or the Paddy Power again at Christmas.

Shesaportrait is in the same mold as him but at a much better price

    Shesaportrait is terribly handicapped.

Folsom Blue hasn't won in 2 and a half years over 14 races. He's 6/1. Shesaportrait is 33/1, she beat Burn and Turn in a mares chase with that horse finishing 2nd in a Galway Plate the previous year.

I'm happy enough with Shesaportrait here

Making all in a 3 runner race over 2m3f on good ground has no bearing on how you could expect one to perform subsequently over 3m on bottomless ground.

I think it could be Folsom Blues day. And Gordon is giving Killer Crow a chance too. Said he never got into the race in Galway but has schooled well since.

That's why she's a much bigger price though right?

Backed gas line boy last week at 20/1 it is gone to 9/1 now hoping for a great run from the English raider.

Mad Brian has one of these in him.

    14/1 is fair.

He is gone in to 8's

She was 5th in this last year as a 7yo of this mark, id expect improvement and this years race doesn't look as deep. Also went with her and Mad Brian.

Although first lieutenant might make us all look silly here

Gas line boy for me. Has small bet on Byron beauty at 10's too but the ground is a concern.

I'd be with you on both the first 2. Would give them a squeak along with Killer crow. Tricast anyone?

Fancy a small bet on Island Remede in the 3.10 @ 14/1

Hasn't run over this iintermediate distance in a couple of years. Donncha O'Brien takes the ride for Henry De Bromhead. The horse stays very well but has the pace to be competitive over teh extended 9f. Deep ground no issue and may be an advantage against horses in this company.

This drop back could be just the Remedy :ermm:

Jeez not my type of bet but Arabian Queen looks a big price in what i essentially a 2 horse race. She also has good record fresh. Id nearly part with cash at 7/2 i think the betting should be the other way around as So MI Dar has to give her weight and is also back from break.

Its of course possible that So MI Dar is a very good horse but she doesn't have any form yet to justify such a short price.

    Lord Scoundrel 8-1 4.10

I'm liking this. Always finishes , always honest.
I think it will go close.

    2pts win 8-1

What can you do with Shesaportrait? We'll have to wait to see how badly handicapped she is now. Sleeping at the start and sulked thereafter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 306 ✭✭hudhastings

Got word Kagney is expected to win. 11/8 last race

New headgear and back over hurdles where she has a mark in the 90s.

First time ever for that horse to fall. Has never been pulled up, eased or fallen before. That is rare for a chaser.
So yea, total kiss of death :o

I didn't see race, just looked at it . Looked like he had every chance to win had he not fallen.
