How come you can't bet on the UK lottery online with PP, Ladbrokes etc. but can in the shops?

sick of having to head to the bookies each week to do it (i know you can pay for a few weeks upfront)

would prefer to do online.....is there a valid reason to this? or is there another online bookie that does offer it

    Ta

Not sure, licensing probably. But also not sure why you'd prefer to pick your lucky numbers from 1-59, rather than the better local offering of 1-47. There's probably more chance of getting struck by a lightning than a win on the uk's version.

If you're doing Pick3 (hotpicks) from 6/7 then it is indeed a very good option to use the bookies.
Much better odds than the usual tickets from shops. And it goes towards the prize-fund rather than pensions funds.

If you're numbers haven't come up yet there is still no statistical advantage (besides 0.01%), that they're due to appear soon.

Saying that, after reading in the news the other day - about the lad in the North that was struck down by lightening last month. He was actually due to appear in court, for GBH charges. So perhaps the man up in the sky, may have a method for distributing karma after all.

Thus if you're meant to win, you probably will (or won't).
