Well finally bit the bullet and upgraded my GPU, currently running a solid enough Asus 6990 but was starting to show its age at this point but still playing games at my res 1920x1200.

After a good look online and reading reviews it was a choice between the Zotac AMP or the Inno3d ichill, I went with the Inno3d iChill x3 GTX1060. At my res no point in getting the 1070 or 1080 as I will be getting a complete new rig in Q1 next year (March Id say)

Physically I was surprised as both cards are the same size, but the 1060 is a quarter of the weight no joke! Never realised just how heavy the 6990 was. It also uses way less power and only 1 8pin connecter as opposed to 2 on the 6990 the difference in performance is quite big also.

I also got a super mouse mat and 2 copies of benchmark software 3d mark and the new VR one thats out soon.

Well happy and delivery from OCUK was free and was here in 2 days.
