Reduced from €25, and currently £20 on Amazon.. doesn't look bad for making a quick smoothie in morning or post-workout.

    Curry's
The Kenwood SB054 Smoothie2Go is practical for anyone with an on-the-go lifestyle, with a blender jug that can be used as a mug with lid to transport your smoothies wherever you go, while also reducing your washing up.

A healthy way to start the day

The Kenwood Smoothie2Go SB054 is highly efficient, with 2 speeds and a pulse function, making quick use of ingredients. Best of all, the pieces are very easy to wash and disassemble.

Yeah, closest store to my local (Sligo) is Cork also.. so possibly very limited availability.

Is available for Home Delivery, albeit with a €4.99 delivery charge.

At 300w, is this realistically only going to be useful for soft fruit smoothies?

I'd imagine if you wanted to add veg or nuts, it would be less than 'smooth'

Anyone with experience of these able to comment?

Never tried veg or nuts but it does ice and frozen fruit well

I had one of these for a while and can't fault it. You could blend rocks in it*. It has a wide lid so you don't wind up with a funnel of sludge like I've got with the Breville version

*probably not recommended for rock blending in reality

Went to collect one I had booked in Currys yesterday and they initially tried to sell me a full price newer version and then went out the back to get an ex display model with no blades. Poor effort from them and I wont be in a hurry back to their store.

Reserved one last night. Picked it up in stores today. Seems fine. Will try it out over the next few days and report back

I have had one of these since 2012.
Great for smoothies, soups and breadcrumbs.
I started juicing within the last couple of months and it has pulverised green veg, nuts, seeds, apples with peels on, crushed ice etc.
However, by coincidence yesterday, I was reading this when my other half decided to put whole ice cubes in and broke the rotary part.
I have ordered another part so I recommend it for everything except whole ice cubes!
