Pumped hot and cold - pressure poor when off

    Hi Folks,

Have a new system bosch 30kw condensing.
300 litre twin coil solar heating cylinder with a 4 bar pump for domestic hot and cold pressurised water. Pump is walrus.

Pump works, lots of power but lots of noise. It's cushioned and not rattling pipes it's just noisy so will go on a timer.

However, my biggest issue is when it's off the hot water to a sink just beside the boiler is awful just a trickle.

I need to discuss this with my plumber but would appreciate any options from the folks here.

    Thanks
    MAJJ

If a pump has been installed to boost the water pressure in the taps / showers etc., then with the pump being switched off it would be expected that the water pressure reverts back to slightly less pressure than before the pump had been installed.
Pump Switched On = Increase In Water Pressure.
Pump Switched Off = Very Low Water Pressure.
If you require water pressure then you need to turn the pump back on.
The walrus pump is usually quiet enough, I have never had noise issue from them, maybe have it checked.
