    Hi everyone,

    Just wondering if any current final year or past NUIG med students would be able to give a heads up on choosing where to go on placement for 4th/final med? I have heard that it can be difficult to get your first choice, and that there doesn't seem to be a concrete selection process (i.e. not based on grades etc.) I am considering Sligo as my first choice, but am unsure whether to go with Castlebar or Letterkenny after that. Also, would you recommend going away or staying in Galway for 3.2-4.1, and why?
